Hi, I’m Kate and this is where coffee meets conversation.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved listening to people’s stories. Not just the highlight reels but the real parts. The messy, beautiful, brave-in-the-middle moments that make us who we are.

I’ve spent my career helping people and brands find their voice. I’ve worked in marketing, strategy, and leadership, but the truth is, my favorite stories were never the ones in the campaign brief. They were the ones shared after the meeting, over a cup of coffee, when someone said, “You know, I’ve never told anyone this before…”

That’s where Coffey Talk was born — from a deep love for connection, curiosity, and honest conversation. Every episode is an invitation to slow down and listen, really listen, to stories that stay with you long after they’re told.

I created this space for anyone who’s ever felt unseen, in transition, or just craving something real. Whether you’re navigating success, failure, or the space in between, Coffey Talk is here to remind you that you’re not alone in what you’re walking through.

A Few Things That Make Me, Me

  • Favorite coffee: Iced chai latte wth a shot of espresso

  • Sidekick: Bowie — professional napper, emotional support editor

  • Dream guests: Drew Barrymore

  • Motto: You don’t look like your goals. You look like your habits.

  • Life philosophy: Keep showing up. The next step is always the right one.

  • Fun fact about the Coffey Talk intro/outro: My husband wrote and recorded the music for Coffey Talk. It’s a great story, ask me about it!

  • Fun fact #2 about the Coffey Talk outro: If you listen all the way to the end, you’ll hear our dog, Maggie give the last word. Maggie always gives the last word.

“Coffey Talk isn’t about perfection.
It’s about being real, laughing often, and finding beauty in the ordinary.”

If you’re new here…welcome. I’m so glad you found your way to this corner of the internet.
Grab your mug, pick an episode, and settle in. My hope is that something you hear here makes you pause, smile, or see yourself a little differently.

Because that’s what Coffey Talk is all about: real people, real stories, and conversations that stir the soul
